Mid-Shore Restoring Hope in Women, a local non-profit that serves women in recovery on the shore is organizing a Women's Recovery Housing Christmas Angel Tree. Our mission throughout the year is to help alleviate some of the stress as they transition through recovery. We help fund women, when they enter in safe and sober recovery housing. We host various fundraising events throughout the year to help complete that mission. As well as relying on local organizations/businesses such as yourselves to fund women.
This year, we would like to do a little more, our goal is to provide gifts for 50 women living in local recovery houses. The recovery houses we are serving are located in Talbot, Caroline and Kent county. We are accepting monetary donations as well as gifts. We have asked the women to fill out a basic form with needed items and a few wish list items as well. We are also partnering with a local toy drive, Bears That Care, this will allow us to serve the women with children so that can provide a Christmas for their children.
We ask that you join us in giving the women who are rebuilding their lives in our communities a Christmas filled with support!
Join us for our first annual Trunk or Treat community event! All year long our communities support our fundraising and awareness events. As a thank you we are partnering with local businesses to provide a fun family tradition!
Follow along on Facebook!
The event is FREE! However we ask that you register so we can do our best to prepare for our guests.
